Laredo, Texas. So I rolled back into Houston after a very tiring weekend of being on the nice and sunny beach (bet you didn't realize being a beach bum takes a lot of work, did you? :P) and the weather was so horrid. My plane nearly got diverted as Continental thought they couldn't land because of the storm. After that I had the misfortune of unknowingly laying my backpack on top of an ant mound while I was trying to find my keys and consequently attacked by said ants. I'm allergic to all sorts of insect bites and within minutes the allergy developed into all sorts of itchy swelling and I started to enter the Godzilla look alike contest from the waist up. Thank goodness I found some benadryl before my eyes decided to seal shut. Today all that's left is a swollen right arm but that should go away in a couple days. I'm taking it as a sign that I should have never left the beach *sigh*. This week is going to suck :( |
